How to find an email address by name
You need two things: who the person is and where they work.
- 1
Enter the full name
First and last name as the person uses it at work. "Kate Lindqvist" works better than "K. Lindqvist".
- 2
Add the company website
Use the domain the company sends email from, such as northwind.com. A careers page or LinkedIn URL will not match.
- 3
Get the work email
We match the name and domain against our profile database and return the address with the person's title.
- 4
Verify before you send
Run the address through the email verifier if you plan to add it to a cold email campaign.
What the email finder tool returns
Each search gives you one person, matched by name and company domain. Free results show the full work email with the person's title and company.
There is no account to create. Answer a quick check for each search, which keeps bots from draining the free lookups.
- Work email address
- Full name and current job title
- Company name and website
- LinkedIn profile link where we hold one
Tips for a better match with any business email finder
Use the sending domain
Some companies use a different domain for email than for their website. If a search misses, try the domain you see on their email signatures.
Use the working name
People often go by a short first name at work. Try "Bill" if "William" returns nothing.
Check for a recent job move
If the person changed jobs in the last few weeks, search with their new company domain.
Avoid free webmail domains
The email finder by domain only works with company domains. Gmail or Outlook domains will not return a person.
Free email finder vs a bulk list from our team
| What you get | Free email finder | Bulk list |
|---|---|---|
| Searches | 5 a day | Thousands, from your CSV |
| Email address | Shown in full | Shown and verified |
| Title and company | Yes | Yes |
| Output | On screen | CSV ready for your CRM |
| Price | Free | Quoted per list |
Yes. You get 5 searches a day with no signup and no account. Each search asks a quick human check, then shows the full email address with the person's title and company.
You need the company website as well. A name alone matches thousands of people. The name plus the company domain narrows it to one person, which is how any reliable email finder by name works.
Check that you used the domain the company sends email from, and try the name the person uses at work. If you have their LinkedIn URL, the LinkedIn email finder often gets a match.
Addresses come from our profile database and are refreshed regularly, but people change jobs. Run any address through our free email verifier before you send a campaign to it.
For more than 5 a day, send us a CSV of names and company domains. Our team returns verified work emails, titles and LinkedIn links as a file ready for your CRM.
